What is LotoAsso?
LotoAsso is an online platform for associations that run fundraising lotteries. It brings together tools to prepare your cards, sell tickets online (e-ticketing), track sales, and run your draws—including LotoAsso Live for on-screen display. Players can create a free account to join lotos and follow events.
Are online association lotteries or lotos allowed in France?
No. As of today, traditional association lotteries (loto, quine, rifle) are not authorized online. In France, gambling is prohibited by default, except for legal exceptions. Association lotos are allowed only under strict conditions (organized by an association, social/cultural/sport purpose, low stakes, and participation within a restricted circle). The administration considers that an online loto is open to the public, no longer meets the restricted-circle requirement, and is not explicitly authorized online by law. No. Lotoasso is just a set of digital tools designed to help the organizer manage and host their loto. Lotoasso never replaces the organizer or the host, but remains a digital support to make all the logistical steps easier.
With a single user account, can I manage multiple associations and multiple lotos?
Yes, absolutely. With one user account, you can manage multiple associations and organize multiple lotos. The platform lets you switch between associations and events, making your activities much easier to manage.
With one user account, can I switch between organizer and player portals for another loto?
Yes, it’s completely possible. With a single user account, you can easily switch between the organizer portal and the player portal, enabling a smooth experience for your participation and roles across different lotos.
How are card payments processed for online sales of cards and products?
Card payments are handled through Stripe Connect, a secure, widely trusted payment solution. When a player makes a purchase (cards, products, ticketing), the transaction is processed directly by Stripe, which is responsible for: • securing payments • account verification (KYC) • compliance with applicable regulations Funds are collected directly by the organizing association on its own Stripe account. 👉 Important: Lotoasso never collects or holds funds at any time.
